How Credits Work in Lusha

What Lusha credits are, how they're consumed, and how to track usage.

Credits are Lusha's currency for unlocking contact data. Every time you reveal a contact's phone number or email address, Lusha deducts credits from your account's balance. Understanding how credits work helps you use them efficiently and avoid unexpected shortfalls.

Key concepts

  • Credits — consumed each time you reveal contact data (phone number or email)
  • Monthly credits — refreshed on your billing anniversary date each month on monthly plans
  • Annual credits — allocated at the start of your annual contract
  • Shared credits — on team plans, credits can be shared across the whole team or allocated per user (Admin-controlled in supported plans)
  • Remaining credits — visible at any time in Usage Analytics (Press your name → Analytics)

Do unused credits roll over?

It depends on your plan type.

Monthly plans (Pro, Premium, Scale): Unused credits roll over to the next month, up to a maximum of 2× your monthly credit allowance. Once you reach that cap, no additional credits accumulate until you use some.

For example: if your plan includes 100 credits per month and you use 40, you carry 60 forward — giving you 160 credits at the start of next month. If you use none at all, you still cap at 200.

Annual plans: Credits are allocated as a full-year pool at the start of your contract and don't reset monthly. Unused credits at the end of a contract term do not carry forward to renewal.

Free plan: Credits reset to your monthly allowance each billing cycle. Unused credits do not carry over.

Which plan do I have?

Lusha offers five plans: Free, Starter, Pro, Premium, and Scale. Each plan includes a set number of credits per month. Scale plan customers can also negotiate custom credit volumes.

To see your current plan and credit balance: go to Settings → Payments & Subscription.

How team credit allocation works

Available for Admins and Managers on Pro, Premium, and Scale plans.

On our new Premium and Scale plans, Admins can choose between two credit modes:

  • Shared pool — all team members draw from one combined credit balance
  • Per-user allocation — each user is assigned a fixed monthly credit limit

To configure this: go to Settings → Team Management → Credit Allocation. (Available for Admins only.)

⚠️ Important: Legacy Premium plans do not include the credit limit feature. To use this feature, please upgrade to one of our new pricing plans.

How to check your credit usage

  1. Go to Usage Analytics (Press your name → Analytics)
  2. You'll see your total credits, credits used, and credits remaining for the current cycle.
  3. Managers and Admins can also view usage broken down by team member.

💡 Note: Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. On monthly plans, unused credits roll over up to 2× your monthly limit. For example, on a 100-credit plan, you can hold a maximum of 200 credits at any time.

When do my credits reset?

Your credits reset on your billing anniversary date — the same day of the month you first subscribed. Credits do not reset on the 1st of every month. For example, if your subscription started on the 15th, your credits reset on the 15th of each month.

To find your exact next reset date:

  1. Go to Settings → Payments & Subscription.
  2. Your next billing date is shown under your plan details — your credits reset on this same date.

💡 Note: On annual plans, credits are allocated once at the start of your contract term and do not reset monthly. Contact your account manager if you need to adjust your annual credit allocation.

You're all set — now you know exactly when to expect your credits to refresh. If you need more credits before your reset date, contact Lusha Support via the chat icon in your dashboard.
