New to credits? Start with How credits work in Lusha for the basics - plan allowances, rollover, and reset dates. This article is the complete per-feature reference.
Complete credit cost table
Credits are charged based on the type of data revealed and the feature used. Use the table below as your reference. When you click Reveal, Lusha shows all available data for that contact at once. This is why a single reveal can deduct more than 1 credit - you’re paying for each piece of contact data surfaced, not just one click.
Buying Group credit costs are currently in effect for MCP/API usage only and will be gradually extended to the rest of the platform. You’ll get 1 week’s advance notice before any credit changes go into effect. See Buying Group: find the right contacts fast for the full feature guide.
How credits are deducted
Credits are charged based on the types of data revealed per contact, not per contact unlock. Each data point has a separate credit cost. The same contact’s data point is only ever charged once - re-querying or re-viewing a contact you’ve already revealed will not incur additional charges for data already surfaced.API-specific rules
The API has a few additional rules that don’t apply to the platform:- Minimum 1 credit per request - even if no results are returned, 1 credit is consumed.
- Bulk request pricing - 1 credit covers up to 25 results. A 40-result bulk call costs 2 credits for the results, plus data point costs on top.
- Company info via API costs 1 credit - company data is free throughout the platform but charged via API.
Every user gets their own API key by default, on every plan including Free - API access is no longer limited to Admins and Managers. Admins and Managers can still cap this: turning a user’s API access off in Account Settings → Permissions suspends their key, independent of any credit limit. Workspace-specific rules
Workspace introduces credit events beyond standard reveals:- AI Data enrichment charges per cell - a row with 3 AI Data columns costs 3 credits to enrich, not 1.
- Signals enrichment only charges for populated cells - if no signal is detected, that cell is free.
- CSV export credits are separate from reveal credits - exporting a table you’ve already revealed still costs 1 credit per 25 rows.
- Signals are table-scoped - running a signal search for the same contact in two different Workspace tables counts as two separate charges.
What does not use a credit
Many actions in Lusha are completely free and do not touch your credit balance. You will not be charged for:- Searching and filtering - browsing results, applying filters, and scrolling through the prospecting platform.
- Viewing company information - company names, industries, headcounts, and other firmographic data on the platform.
- Re-viewing a contact you’ve already revealed - the credit is only charged once per contact per cycle.
- Saving contacts to a table - adding a contact to a table without revealing their contact data.
- Workspace Lusha Data and CRM columns - these pull from verified data and live CRM fields at no cost.
- Unmatched rows in CSV Enrichment - rows Lusha cannot find a match for are always free.
- Browsing the Recommendations table - you’re never charged just for viewing or filtering the table.
Credits are only ever deducted when you click Show details (or Reveal) on a contact for the first time in a billing cycle, or when performing a paid Workspace action like AI Data enrichment or CSV export.
Why Analytics may show higher numbers than you expect
The Analytics dashboard reflects credits at the account level, across all users and all channels. A few things that can cause the number to look higher than expected:- Credits used by other users on your account are included in the total.
- Credits consumed via integrations (Salesforce, HubSpot, API, etc.) count toward the balance.
- Bulk reveals deduct credits for all contacts in the selection, including those for whom only partial data was found.
- Workspace actions like AI Data enrichment and CSV exports add to the total beyond reveal-only usage.
- The “This cycle” view resets on your renewal date - not the calendar month - which can make the window feel shorter than expected.
What are “conversation credits”?
Conversation credits are a separate credit type available on certain plan tiers. They are used when saving contact information through specific in-platform workflows. If you see this line item in your dashboard, it counts independently from your standard prospecting credits. If you believe there’s a discrepancy in your credit count

Filter your credit usage
Go to Analytics → Credit Usage and filter by user and date range.
2
Compare against known activity
Compare the breakdown against your known reveal activity - remember to account for Workspace actions (AI Data, Signals, CSV exports) and API usage.
3
Contact support if needed
