# How to limit credits per user or group

Admins and Managers on Scale plans can set credit limits per user or per group. This lets you control how many credits each team member or team group can use within a billing cycle.

💡 Note: A group limit is shared across all members of the group. For example, if a group of 3 users has a combined limit of 500 credits, they can collectively use up to 500 credits **in the cycle** - not 500 each.

## Monitoring credit usage

The Team Management table uses colour indicators to show each member's credit status at a glance:

- **Green** — credits available
- **Orange** — near limit (75% used)
- **Red** — limit reached

A coloured notification dot also appears in the navigation bar when a team member reaches 75% (orange) or 100% (red) of their limit.

Use the **status filter** in Team Management to sort members by their current credit usage status.
