# Workspace Enrichment: Lusha Data vs. AI Data Columns

Once you've saved a Workspace table, you can deepen your understanding of each contact or company by adding data columns. Lusha offers three types of columns today: Lusha database data and AI data (both under the **Enrich** tab), real-time signals, and CRM fields. This article explains each type, how to add them, and what to expect.

## **How to add a column**

1. Open any saved Workspace table
2. Click **Add enrichment** in the table toolbar
3. The column library opens with three tabs: **Enrich**, **Signals**, and **CRM**
4. In the **Enrich** tab, a **Suggested columns** section appears at the top — the highest-usage Contact or Company fields for quick access — followed by an **AI data** section, then the full list of Lusha Data fields grouped by category (e.g. Contact Fields, Company Fields > Basic info)
5. Click a suggested column to add it instantly, search for a specific field, or browse by category
6. Click any column name to add it to your table
7. Columns that don't consume credits (Lusha Data fields and CRM fields) now run automatically the moment you add them — data populates without a manual run. Columns that consume credits (AI data and Signals) appear empty — click **Run column** to fill them with live data

Free data points are marked with a **Free** tag in the column library, so you can spot them at a glance.

You can also click the **+** icon directly next to any existing column header to add a new column in that position.

## **Tab 1: Enrich (Lusha Data)**

These columns pull from Lusha's verified B2B database and populate instantly without consuming enrichment credits. They include standard contact and company fields:

**Contact fields:** Name, job title, seniority, department, work email, mobile, phone, direct phone, LinkedIn URL

**Company fields:** Company name, website, industry, sub-industry, company size (headcount), revenue range, founding year, headquarters location, country, company domains, company technologies, employees on LinkedIn, email domain, max revenue

Use these columns to complete any fields missing from your initial search results.

### AI data

Within the **Enrich** tab, an **AI data** section sits above the Lusha Data fields. Each AI column runs on a dedicated AI prompt to generate its data — these go beyond Lusha's database and use real-time web crawling to provide strategic context about a company. When you click **Run column**, Lusha's AI performs a fresh web search to populate the data, so results are current, not cached.

Available AI columns (selectable on Companies or Contacts tables):

- Product and Industry Insights
- Recent Executive Changes
- SaaS or non-SaaS
- Customer Reviews Sentiment
- Open Jobs Summary
- Company Street Name

**Cost:** These are credit-charging data points — 1 credit is deducted per row populated.

## **Tab 2: Signals**

Signals add real-time behavioral intelligence to your table based on what companies and contacts are actively doing. Signals track what a company is currently doing — making them ideal for timing your outreach.

Cost: 1 credit is charged per successful signal detected (for either a contact or a company). If no signal is found, the cell remains empty, and no credits are deducted.

Please note that signals are **table-specific**. If the same contact is saved in two different tables and you run a signal search in both, you will be charged twice.

Signals are covered in detail in [Workspace Signals: Tracking Buying Intent and Contact Changes](/user-guide/enriching-with-data-and-signals/workspace-signals-tracking-buying-intent-and-contact-changes).

## **Tab 3: CRM**

CRM columns let you pull live field values from your connected Salesforce account directly into your table. You can add fields from Contact, Lead, or Account objects.

**Cost:** Free — CRM columns do not consume credits

CRM columns now run automatically as soon as you add them, pulling live data from Salesforce without a manual run. Use CRM columns to see things like "Last Activity Date," "Deal Stage," or "Owner" alongside your Lusha prospecting data in the same view.

## **Running columns**

Lusha Data and CRM columns (both free) auto-run the moment you add them. For AI data and Signals columns, which consume credits, the cells will display **"Click to run"**. You have three options when you click **Run column**:

- **Run for all rows** — populates the column for every row in your table (most comprehensive, uses the most credits for paid columns)
- **Run for first 25 rows** — a cost-effective way to test the column before running at scale
- **Add columns only** — adds the column to your view without running the data immediately; you can run individual rows on demand by clicking "Click to run" on specific cells

## **Tips**

- Run your highest-priority rows first (first 25) to validate quality before running across the full table
- CRM columns are free — use them liberally to cross-reference your Lusha data with existing CRM records
- Enrichment data added to columns is included when you export the table to CSV
