Why your email might be rejected at signup
- Public domain - Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, and similar public email providers are not accepted.
- Generic prefix - addresses like info@, sales@, hr@, or support@ are not accepted.
- Domain not verified - your company’s email domain must be linked to an active website. Domains without a functioning website can’t be verified.
- IT restrictions - your organisation’s IT provider may be blocking third-party app access. Admin consent may be required.- Invalid Email Configurations - Issues such as missing or misconfigured DNS, SPF, DKIM, or DMARC records can lead to a domain being flagged.
Common error messages
Administrator approval required
Your organisation’s IT has restricted third-party app permissions. A tenant administrator needs to grant the necessary permissions for Lusha in your organisation’s settings.Fraud user - login is blocked
Lusha couldn’t verify your email domain as a business domain. This usually means the domain isn’t linked to an active company website.Domains with a low reputation or those associated with spam activities may also be flagged as suspicious.Account suspended immediately after signing up
If you completed registration but your account was suspended before you could use it, this is a different issue from a signup rejection. It means Lusha’s automated compliance system flagged your domain for review - not necessarily because of anything you did wrong. Common reasons include:- Your domain is new or has limited online history
- Your domain was previously associated with suspicious activity by other users
- Multiple signup attempts were made from the same IP address- Low domain reputation or association with spam activities
- Invalid email configurations such as missing DNS, SPF, DKIM, or DMARC records
- Don’t create a new account - do not create additional accounts, as this can delay the review.
- Contact Lusha Support - reach out via the chat icon on the Lusha website and provide: your registered email address, your company name and company website URL, a brief description of how you plan to use Lusha, and your company’s LinkedIn page.
- Wait for the domain review - the team will review your domain. Most cases are resolved within 1-3 business days.
- Wait before trying again - wait at least one hour after resolving flagged domain issues before attempting to sign up again, to allow system updates.
Domain whitelisting requests must be reviewed manually by Lusha’s team. Lusha Support cannot approve these directly - but reaching out speeds up the process significantly.
