# How to set an inactivity timeout

The inactivity timeout setting automatically logs out team members after a set period of no activity. This adds a security layer that protects your account on shared or non-company devices.

💡 Note: This feature is available on Scale plans only. Only Admins can configure this setting. The timeout applies to all users on your account regardless of role.

## How to set the inactivity timeout

1. Log in to your [Lusha dashboard](https://dashboard.lusha.com/) and click your name in the top-right corner.
2. Go to **Account & Settings → [Account Settings](https://dashboard.lusha.com/account/accountSettings)**.
3. Find the **Inactivity timeout** section and click the dropdown to select your timeout duration. You can set it in minutes, hours, or days (up to 60 minutes, 24 hours, or 30 days).
4. Click **Save**.

When a session times out, the user will be logged out and will need to sign in again to continue using Lusha.

You're all set — the timeout setting takes effect immediately and applies to all team members.
