If a sequence sends from an address that doesn’t match what you configured, this usually happens because the sender address is added as an alias on a personal Outlook.com account instead of being its own Microsoft 365 mailbox. Outlook.com only supports sending from aliases on Microsoft domains (outlook.com, hotmail.com, live.com), so it sends as the account’s internal address instead.

How to identify the problem

Confirm whether your email address is a Microsoft 365 / Exchange mailbox, or an alias on a personal Outlook.com account.

How to resolve this issue

If it’s an alias on a personal Outlook.com account

Connect a full Microsoft 365 (or Google Workspace) mailbox on your domain to Lusha, so emails send directly from your domain. Alternatively, you can make an @outlook.com address the primary alias, but then emails will show that address instead of your domain.

If it’s already a Microsoft 365 mailbox

Send our support team a sample email header and the time it was sent, and we’ll look into it on our side.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the support team via live chat from the Lusha website, your Lusha Dashboard, or via email at support@lusha.com.
