Key concepts
- Conversations Search - finds calls matching filters (date range, company, participant, keyword) and returns everything about each one except the transcript: summary, coaching scores, chapters, topics, and participants.
- Transcript - a separate request that returns the speaker-by-speaker transcript for one call.
- Coaching - four fixed sections per call: opening, qualification, demo, and closing, each with what happened, what to keep, and what to improve, plus an overall score.
- Completed conversations only - a call only appears once its recording and analysis have finished processing. An empty summary or coaching section on a recent call means analysis isn’t ready yet, not that nothing was found.
How to access it
- API -
POST /v3/account/conversations/searchandGET /v3/account/conversations/{conversationId}/transcript. See the Conversations API documentation for full parameters and response schemas. - MCP - the same two capabilities are exposed as the
conversations_searchandconversations_transcript_gettools on the Lusha MCP Server. Ask your connected AI client to find a call or pull a transcript, and it calls these tools for you.
There’s no separate endpoint or tool to fetch a single conversation by itself - search with just that conversation’s ID to retrieve it.
What you get back
Each result from Search includes the call’s title, date, duration, meeting type, company, participants, topics, coaching scores, summary (highlights, action items, next steps, risks and objections, competitor mentions), and chapters. The transcript is never included in Search results - fetch it separately with the Transcript request.Rolling up action items, competitor mentions, or risks across multiple calls or a whole account isn’t built in yet - pull the calls you want with Search and aggregate them on your side.
Credits
This is currently available via the API and MCP only. Platform support may follow in a future update.
Both actions are billed via pricebook entries (
ci_meeting_data_export for Search, ci_transcript_analysis for Transcript). While either action isn’t yet seeded on your account’s pricebook, that endpoint stays free - billing.creditsCharged comes back as 0. Check your response’s billing object if you’re unsure which state your account is in.
