The GET /account/usage endpoint returns your current credit balance - how many credits you’ve used, how many remain, and your total allotment. Use this to monitor consumption, avoid hitting plan limits, and support billing reconciliation. Endpoint: GET https://api.lusha.com/account/usage Authentication: api_key header required

This endpoint has a specific rate limit of 5 requests per minute - lower than other Lusha API endpoints. Do not poll it more frequently than needed.

Response fields

An object with one entry per credit type on your plan (for example bulkCredits). Each entry has the following fields.

Error responses

Status	Meaning
401	Missing or invalid API key
429	Rate limit exceeded (max 5 req/min)
500	Internal server error

In production pipelines, check your credit balance at the start of each batch run. If remaining is low, pause the job and alert your team rather than exhausting credits unexpectedly.
