# Hiring Surge (Premium Filter)

Hiring surge lets you filter and enrich by a real, live growth signal straight from the field: which companies are actively surging in hiring right now. Instead of static firmographics, it gives you an actual pulse on who's scaling their teams as you search — one of the clearest buying signals available, since a hiring surge usually means fresh budget, new initiatives, and new decision-makers walking in the door.

Hiring surge is Lusha's first monetized **Premium Filter**.

## How to use the Hiring surge filter

1. Open the Workspace **Add companies** screen (chat or filter panel)
2. In the filter panel, open the **Companies** section
3. Select **Hiring surge** — it's tagged **Premium**
4. Filter freely: combine Hiring surge with any other filter (industry, location, headcount, technology, and more), on Companies or Contacts alike


Filtering itself is free — you can explore results without being charged.

## How Premium Filter pricing works

Unlike Lusha's other filters, Hiring surge introduces paid enrichment on save:

- **Filtering and browsing results:** Free
- **Saving to table:** 1 credit per company result


Once you save a result, the full enrichment unlocks as a **Surge in hiring (3M)** column in your table. Click the **arrow ( › )** on the column header to expand it and see the individual data fields:

| **Signal date** | The date the hiring surge was last detected for this company |
| **New jobs posted last week** | The number of new job postings this company added in the last 7 days |
| **Historical avg** | The company's average number of new job postings per week over the past 3 months |
| **Change rate** | The percentage increase in job postings compared to the historical average — higher means a stronger surge |
