# Search & lists

> Build, enrich, and export prospect tables in Lusha Workspace.

Lusha Workspace is where you build persistent contact and company tables, enrich them with data and signals, and export them to a CRM or CSV. Workspace is rolling out to replace Lusha's classic search-and-save experience, so depending on your plan you may see either the newer Workspace or the classic tables interface.

<Note>
  Workspace is currently unavailable to some legacy Scale plan users. If your account doesn't show Workspace yet, you're likely still on the classic experience.
</Note>

## Three ways to build a table

<CardGroup cols={3}>
  <Card title="AI chat" icon="wand-magic-sparkles">
    Describe your target audience in plain language - for example, "VPs of Sales at Series B SaaS companies in Boston" - and Lusha builds a preview table for you.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Filter panel" icon="sliders">
    Use structured filters for job title, seniority, industry, location, company size, funding stage, and more.
  </Card>

  <Card title="CRM import" icon="arrow-right-arrow-left">
    Bring existing Salesforce records into Workspace, enrich them, and sync updates back.
  </Card>
</CardGroup>

You can combine AI chat and filters on the same table for more precise results.

## Building a table with AI chat

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the chat">
    Start from the "Create new" button in the left navigation, the homepage prompt ("What table do you want to build?"), or the "+" button next to Recents.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Describe your audience">
    Enter your criteria in plain English - job titles, seniority, industry, location, and technology preferences all work.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review the preview table">
    Lusha returns a preview with default columns such as contact name, job title, LinkedIn profile, company details, and contact information.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Refine through conversation">
    Keep chatting to narrow or adjust the results. Refining the preview doesn't use credits - only saving contacts does.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save your table">
    Save the results to turn the preview into a persistent Workspace table.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Filtering contacts and companies

From the Workspace home screen, you can filter contacts or companies directly instead of (or alongside) using AI chat. Available filter categories include:

**Contact filters** - job title, seniority, department, industry, location, company size, revenue, technology stack, funding stage, skills, education, languages, and a "Not in my CRM" toggle.

**Company filters** - industry, company type (B2B/B2C/B2G), size, revenue, location, technology stack, funding stage, founded year, and a "Not in my CRM" toggle.

<Tip>
  The "Not in my CRM" toggle currently checks against connected Salesforce records only.
</Tip>

You can also use the **Get API request** option to view your current search as ready-to-use API code in cURL, Python, or TypeScript - useful if you want to reproduce the same query programmatically.

## Enriching your table

Workspace tables support a few types of enrichment, each with its own credit cost:

| Enrichment Type | What It Does |
| --------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Lusha Data      | Standard contact/company fields                                     |
| AI Data | Real-time web enrichment, applied per cell |
| Signals | Behavioral and intent signals, such as job changes or hiring surges |
| CRM | Live values pulled from your connected CRM |

## Exporting your table

Once your table is built, you can export it in a few ways:

* **CSV** - export selected rows, the current page, or all matching rows, including every visible column.
* **CRM sync** - push contacts directly into a connected Salesforce or HubSpot account, using your configured field mappings.
* **Engage sequences** - enroll selected contacts into an existing Lusha Engage email sequence.

<Note>
  Hidden columns are excluded from CSV exports. Selection limits apply - up to 10,000 rows for searches or filters, and up to 10,000 rows for saved tables (selections above 150 are processed offline).
