# Why does my Outlook sender address look different in Engage?

> Why emails sent from Lusha Engage show a different sender address when the mailbox is an alias on a personal Outlook.com account.

If a sequence sends from an address that doesn't match what you configured, this usually happens because the sender address is added as an alias on a personal Outlook.com account instead of being its own Microsoft 365 mailbox. Outlook.com only supports sending from aliases on Microsoft domains (`outlook.com`, `hotmail.com`, `live.com`), so it sends as the account's internal address instead.

## How to identify the problem

Confirm whether your email address is a Microsoft 365 / Exchange mailbox, or an alias on a personal Outlook.com account.

## How to resolve this issue

### If it's an alias on a personal Outlook.com account

Connect a full Microsoft 365 (or Google Workspace) mailbox on your domain to Lusha, so emails send directly from your domain.

Alternatively, you can make an `@outlook.com` address the primary alias, but then emails will show that address instead of your domain.

### If it's already a Microsoft 365 mailbox

Send our support team a sample email header and the time it was sent, and we'll look into it on our side.
