How to Target Existing CRM Records in Lusha

View as Markdown

Filter Lusha Search to only show contacts and companies already saved in your CRM using Account-Based Prospecting.

The Search in My CRM filter lets you map your active sales pipeline against Lusha's vast B2B database. Instead of stumbling upon duplicate targets or guessing which accounts are already assigned, you can surface gaps in your current records and prioritize upsell or expansion opportunities instantly.

Why Target Existing CRM Records?

Isolating your current database within Lusha Prospecting unlocks three core account-based strategies:

  • Account Expansion: Locate net-new stakeholders and buyers within an enterprise account your team has already closed or is actively working.
  • Data Enrichment: Instantly pull missing mobile phone numbers, direct lines, or verified business emails for records that have gone stale in your pipeline.
  • Signal Monitoring: Track active buying triggers—such as job changes or funding rounds—specifically for your target account table or existing client base.

Prerequisites

To activate this filter, your Lusha workspace must fulfill a couple of fundamental integration rules:

  • Salesforce Connection: You must have an authenticated Salesforce integration active across your workspace (with additional platform coverage rolling out over time).
  • Admin Approval: A workspace Admin must enable account-level data cross-referencing within your Lusha integration panel.

Step-by-Step: Applying the Filter

To zero in on existing CRM profiles inside your search engine, follow this quick workflow:

  1. Log in to your Lusha dashboard and select Prospecting (Search) from the left sidebar navigation.
  2. Choose your target entity level using the Contacts or Companies toggle at the top of the pane.
  3. Add any baseline criteria you want to investigate (e.g., specific regions, job tiers, or software technologies).
  4. Locate the filter configurations bar above your search result grid.
  5. Click on the CRM Filter dropdown (identifiable by the cloud logo).
  6. Select In my CRM (or Search in my CRM depending on your display layout).

Your search view will instantly reload. Every person or company displayed will now feature a dedicated Salesforce icon, verifying that a corresponding record securely matches an entry inside your active pipeline.

Acting on Filtered Results

Once you have isolated your current CRM accounts inside Lusha, you can immediately enrich or mobilize them:

  • Bulk Reveal: Select multiple records at once and click Show details to unlock missing contact variables. If you’ve already unlocked a record in the past, re-revealing its current state uses 0 additional credits.
  • Direct Syncing: Push the missing variables straight back into your source pipeline by clicking the CRM Export button. Lusha will cleanly map the fresh criteria over the existing object record without creating confusing duplicates.
