# API playground

> Test Lusha API endpoints directly in your browser, or import the Postman workspace for a standalone client.

Every endpoint in the [API reference](/api-reference/overview) has a live "Try it" panel built into the page. You can send real requests and see real responses without writing any code.

## Use the in-browser playground

    Grab it from the [Lusha API dashboard](https://dashboard.lusha.com/api/manage-api-keys) if you don't have one yet. See [authentication](/authentication) for details.

  <Step title="Open an endpoint page">
    Go to any page under [API docs](/api-reference/overview) and look for the panel on the right side of the page (or below the content on mobile).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter your API key and parameters">
    Paste your key into the `api_key` field, fill in the request fields, and click **Send**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Read the response">
    The panel shows the actual status code and response body that the API returns. Your code receives the same response.

  Requests sent from the playground consume credits and count against your rate limits just like any other request. The playground calls the real API, not a mock.

## Prefer a standalone client?

Import the [Lusha Postman workspace](https://www.postman.com/lushateam/workspace/lusha-s-api/collection/28683568-fc849873-9ae1-47dd-8159-0d4deda04750). Every endpoint is pre-configured with example requests. Add your API key as a collection variable once and Postman applies it automatically across the whole collection.

  There's no official Lusha SDK. Every request the playground or Postman sends is plain HTTP. You can copy the generated code sample (curl, Python, JavaScript, Java, or Go) straight into your own project.
