The filter type to fetch values for.Allowed values: names, sizes, revenues, locations, sics, naics, industriesLabels, intentTopics, technologies

Query parameters

Search term to filter the returned values. Required for names, technologies, and locations (2–256 characters); optional and ignored for filter types that don’t require a query.

The valid values for the requested filterType. The shape depends on which filter type you requested:

industriesLabels - an array of industry label strings, for example ["Software", "SaaS"]
intentTopics - an array of topic strings, for example ["Cloud Migration"]
sizes - an array of { min, max } employee-count range objects, for example { "min": 50, "max": 500 }
revenues - an array of { min, max } revenue range objects, for example { "min": 1, "max": 1000000 }
sics - an array of { code, description } SIC code objects, for example { "code": 7371, "description": "Custom computer programming services" }
naics - an array of { code, description } NAICS code objects, for example { "code": 541511, "description": "Custom Computer Programming Services" }
names (query required) - an array of matching company name strings
technologies (query required) - an array of matching technology name strings
locations (query required) - an array of location objects with city, state, country, continent, and countryGrouping, matching the shape used in search requests

The OpenAPI schema declares values as an open-ended field since its shape varies by filter type. Treat the examples above as representative, not a fixed contract.

Error codes

Status	Meaning
`400`	Bad request - invalid `filterType`, or missing/too-short `query` for a filter type that requires one
`401`	Unauthorized - invalid or missing API key
`403`	Forbidden - account inactive or V3 access not enabled
`429`	Too many requests - rate limit exceeded

Filter types with requiresQuery: false (sizes, revenues, sics, naics, intentTopics, industriesLabels) rarely change - cache their values instead of calling this endpoint before every search.

sics and naics provide more granular industry targeting than industriesLabels. Use them when you need to narrow a search to a specific sub-sector that doesn’t map cleanly to a label.
